School Year Volunteer Opportunities
Students may volunteer at all three branches during the school year.
Volunteer tasks may include the following:
Helping with children's programs
Preparing craft kits for preschool storytime
Decorating bulletin boards, and setting up displays
Students may also join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) to fulfill volunteer hours.
Main Library in Frisco:

North Branch in Silverthorne:
Every Monday that school is in session middle and high school students may volunteer at the North Branch Library from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. If that day is not a possibility, contact 970-468-5887 to set up another time to volunteer.
South Branch in Breckenridge:
Please complete an online application
Once your application has been received, you will be contacted to schedule a volunteer orientation. (Note: Completing the application does not obligate you to volunteer) If you have other questions, please contact Monica at 970-453-3546.
Summer Volunteer Opportunities
Summer volunteers are most needed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to help with the summer reading program for younger children but other volunteer opportunities and times may be available. Contact the library you wish to volunteer at in the Spring for more details.

We are currently full for summer teen volunteers but if you would like to fill out an online application, we will contact you for future volunteer opportunities. (Note: Completing the application does not obligate you to volunteer)
You are welcome to join the South Branch Teen Advisory Board (TAB) as another opportunity for community service.

Volunteer time may be used for IB credit, National Honor Society, working off fines, or community service. Guidelines are available online or at your library.
