Main Library in Frisco

The Main Library is located inside the County Commons building. Contact Sara Lopez to discuss availability of the Mt. Royal Room or the Community & Senior Center meeting spaces at Lopez.SaraR@summitcountyco.gov  970- 668-2940.

Study Rooms 

The Main Library has 3 study rooms for public use. Study Rooms can be reserved free of charge for a maximum of 3 hours per day and reserved on the same day or one day in advance. To reserve a study room, call 970-668-4138.

South Branch Library in Breckenridge

The Breckenridge Grand Vacations Community Center (BGVCC), has two meeting rooms and a kitchen available at an hourly rate. To request a room reservation or if you have any questions, please email sblmeetingrooms@summitcountyco.gov or call 970-453-3544 and ask for a meeting room manager.

To begin the process, download and complete the 2024 application and review the room policies. View our fee policies. To request approval for alcohol use at your meeting or event, download the alcohol use form. For more information about using the meeting rooms and their various devices, you may refer to our Meeting Room Help Document.

Hopefull and Discovery Meeting Rooms

  • 50 person capacity each (the rooms can be combined to create a single, larger room)
  • Tables and chairs
  • 90 in. display monitors and dry-erase boards

Kitchen

  • Warming oven
  • Dishwasher
  • Refrigerator and freezer
  • Sink and counters

Rates for Meeting Rooms

  • Free: County, Towns, and BGVCC building tenants 
  • Free: Nonprofit organizations located in Summit County (Evidence of 501c3 status maybe be required)
  • Free: Community /civic organizations or nonprofit organizations outside Summit County
  • $50/hr per room and $100/hr for both rooms: All other organizations and private events

Study Rooms

The South Branch Library has three Study Rooms that can be reserved free of charge for a maximum of 3 hours per day and reserved on the same day or one day in advance. To reserve a study room, call 970-453-3544.

Shakespeare Study Room

  • 8 person capacity

Humbug Study Room

  • 3 person capacity
  • Table and Chairs

Puzzler Study Room

  • Teens (Grades 6-12) have priority
  • 4 person capacity

North Branch Library in Silverthorne

The North Branch Library in Silverthorne will have three meeting rooms in the future available for reservation.  To request a room reservation or if you have any questions, please email nblmeetingrooms@summitcountyco.gov or call 970-668-4280.

When we reopen you will need to download and complete the 2024 application (Spanish Version) and review the Meeting Room Policies for North Branch Library. (Spanish Version) Events that would like to serve alcohol must complete this request for approval (Spanish) from the County Manager’s office.

Moose and Elk Meeting Rooms

  • 36 person capacity each (the rooms can be combined to create a single larger room called The Lodge)
  • 12 Tables and 72 chairs
